Purpose Of This Document

Sometimes it seems like we know more about old operating systems than we do our foundational documents in the US. The Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the like were the first OS that produced subsequent technological breakthroughs. We ought to "read the man pages". So, here they are, with commentary.

Notes on Commentary

The commentary here will "throw out" a lot of remarks that were made about the documents that were not in the origianl understanding of their construction. This means the author will be exercising editorial authority and impunity as it is the intention to offer an interpretation that is hopefully close to what the original documents were endeavoring to accomplish.
